This site shows a public view of trains in Germany. It does not ask for an account.

With JavaScript, the home page and the live page request a public snapshot from this site, through this site’s public train search and journey endpoints. A snapshot has train names, stations, scheduled and estimated times, delays, cancellations, and a coarse position. It does not include a person’s name, a friend’s name, or a ZugPass.

The same pages ask OpenFreeMap for map tiles. Those tiles are made from OpenStreetMap data.

The site does not set an advertising cookie. It does not send the page to an ad network.

Journey history, the trains you keep, and your ZugPass live in the iPhone app, on the phone.

If you join the waitlist, your email address is submitted to this site so you can receive launch updates. The avatar images in the placeholder community stack are loaded from i.pravatar.cc. The displayed waitlist count is a design placeholder.
